The story began in a small Idaho mountain town, where the founder’s mother-in-law owned a quilt shop for over 20 years. One day, she asked a question that sparked a new journey: “Could we laser-cut fabric?”

After a week of trial, error, and a few fiery mishaps (think pyrotechnic displays and blackened fabric), the answer was a resounding yes. What started as a part-time laundry room operation turned into a thriving business when Laser Cut Quilts officially launched full-time in July 2016.

Today, Laser Cut Quilts provides custom laser-cutting services for quilt shops and pattern designers, pre-cut services for fabric manufacturers, and their own wholesale line of laser-cut quilt kits. Their mission? To blend art and functionality in a way that brings joy and efficiency to quilters everywhere.
