We’re hosting a Scrappy Witch’s Hat Sew-Along on October 21 and October 23, and we’d love for YOU to join us!

We’ll be making the adorable Scrappy Witch’s Hat using this fun tutorial from Fat Quarter Shop. It’s the perfect project for using up those favorite fabric scraps and creating something festive for the spooky season!

👻 What You'll Need

Time to raid that fabric stash! The original tutorial includes options for adult- and child-sized hats, using charm squares or mini charm squares, along with batting and backing/binding fabric. You can even add a fun ribbon for an extra magical touch!

If you’re making an adult-sized Scrappy Witch’s Hat, you will need:

One Charm Pack
3/4 Yard of Backing/Binding Fabric
3/4 Yard of Batting
Optional: Ribbon for Binding

If you’re making a child-sized Scrappy Witch’s Hat, you will need:

Three MINI Charm Packs
1/2 Yard of Backing/Binding Fabric
1/2 Yard of Batting
Optional: Ribbon for Binding

Don't have Halloween fabric? No problem! Try orange, purple, black, or even a colorful mix of scraps. We fully support a witch's right to accessorize! 😂
