Get ready for a fun and creative sewing session this Friday, February 14th, at 1 PM MST as Bethany & Lindsey sew up a giant Valentine’s-themed bow! This beginner-friendly project is perfect for adding a festive touch to your holiday decor, gifts, or even a cute fashion accessory.
Using some of their favorite CutterPillar tools, Bethany & Lindsey will show you how to make this project easier and more enjoyable. Whether you’re sewing along live or catching the replay, this is a great way to learn new skills and create something adorable in the process!
What You’ll Need: Scrappy Giant Bow Project Supplies
🧵 Basic Supplies:
- Sewing Machine
- Cotton Thread
- 1.5 yards of fabric (quilting cotton, linen, canvas, woven)
- 1.5 yards of batting or fleece (recommended for thinner fabrics to add structure)
- Rotary Cutter
- Flip & Fold Cutting Mat
- Ruler
- Iron
- Point Turner Tool
- String or Yarn (for cinching the bow – color doesn’t need to match)
- Hand Sewing Needle or Hot Glue Gun (for securing the center of the bow)
💖 Optional for Appliqué Hearts:
- Fat Quarter Quilting Cotton
- Double-Sided Fusible Adhesive (such as Heat n Bond)
- Pen
- Scissors
