๐ŸŒŸ Need Some Inspiration?

Consider creating:

  • A cozy quilt featuring snowflakes and stars
  • A scrappy Christmas tree quilt
  • Festive patchwork pillows
  • Quilted gift bags that can be reused year after year
  • Advent calendars
  • Holiday placemats
  • A quilted table topper for Christmas dinner
  • Holiday Cards for Friends & Family
  • Memory Books for Gifts
  • Personalized stockings for loved ones

Don't be afraid to mix classic reds and greens with pinks, aqua, gold, black, or modern neutrals. Christmas fabrics have never been more fun!

โœ‚๏ธ Tips for Success

  • Shop your stash firstโ€”you may already have holiday fabrics & papers waiting to be used.
  • Make one extra gift while you're sewing. You'll be glad you have it when an unexpected gift exchange comes up.
  • Batch your projects. If you're making stockings, ornaments, or mug rugs, sew several at once to save time.
  • Label your gifts as you finish them so you remember who they're for!

๐Ÿ˜‚ Quilter Confession Time...

We've all done it...

๐ŸŽ„ Binding a quilt on Christmas Eve.
๐ŸŽ Wrapping a gift that's still warm from the ironing board.
๐Ÿงต Promising, "Next year I'll start in July."

Well... next year is officially NOW! ๐Ÿ˜„

  • I will have to rewatch. I have a hearing problem and sometimes messages are to fast for me. The Christmas project sounds fun.

  • This is the first time Iโ€™m joining the monthly challenge. Getting ahead of making Christmas gifts is such an excellent idea. I get to choose the person who will receive each gift, pick the project, plan the layout and fabric selection and have an entire month to start and hopefully finish a few items way ahead of the Christmas rush. Looking forward to the July challenge! As always, Cutterpillar is my favorite place to be!
