Crafting Connections Through Creativity

Hi, I’m Jennifer Long, the designer behind Sew A Story. As a fabric designer for Riley Blake

Designs, former educator, and mom of four, I love creating sewing and quilting experiences that

bring families together and help build meaningful connections through storytelling and creativity.

One of my favorite pieces this year is the Butterfly Release Pillow. It’s part of my Crafting

Connections experience, where I teach children and adults how to use creativity to connect in

everyday moments. The project is designed with intention, giving families a way to slow down

and share conversations, even if they only have ten minutes at a time.
