This year, we’re launching Monthly Quilting Challenges: one theme per month, designed to spark creativity, build skills, and (most importantly) help you actually finish projects.

Each month features:

• A clear quilting theme (blocks, techniques, or project styles)

• Beginner-friendly ideas with room to grow

• Freedom to make one block or a whole quilt

• Encouragement over perfection (always)

Quilt Along With Us — Live!

We’ll be hosting a livestream on the first Monday of each month to kick off each challenge:

• Tips and inspiration

• Technique demos

• Product spotlights

• Real talk about what actually works at the sewing table

There’s no better way to start the year than with the blocks that started it all.

Our January Quilting Challenge is all about Traditional Quilt Blocks — timeless designs that are familiar, flexible, and incredibly satisfying to sew.

The Challenge

Create a project using at least one traditional quilt block. That’s it.

Some classic options to get you started:

• Nine Patch

• Log Cabin

• Ohio Star

You can make:

• A single block

• A mini quilt

• A full quilt

• Or even just a practice piece

Traditional doesn’t mean boring — fabric choice alone can completely change the look.
