I bought this light for a palm router in making signs. This has nothing with sewing but it works great. It’s a very good light.
It is nice to have a gridless mat when you aren't cutting am rectangular blocks. You don't have grids in the way to distract you or make you mess up.

This is an excellent light board for foundation paper piecing, fussy cutting, and simply seeing your materials well as you work. I wish it were possible to start with the unlined cutting board, rather than the lined one, but the lined version is certainly useful to me also. I’m glad I added the glass mat so that I can also press my blocks on the Glow, which makes this even more useful at home and away.

I really enjoy having the extra lights on my sewing machine for late night seeing. It makes it so easy to see the thread. And it’s nice to have an extra light to swap out when one of the lights die.

First board warped the 1st time I used and the replacement board won’t power on or off after the first time I used it. Save your money and frustration.

I love that there are no grid lines. I do FPP and my mat with grid lines didn't work well for this.

The magnifier works like a champ on the itty bitty cross stitch squares.
The plastic is getting warped in the middle. Not sure why? Do you think it will help if I purchase the tempered glass to sit on top for weight. Also do you have a tempered glass the size of my ultra light board, I like to purchase one.
This smaller mat is so portable and gives fold out to a decent work area. Rotary cutters glide across this mat with ease. It's lightweight so it's easy to take it on vacation.
Don't be fooled by the size of this bag. It can hold a lot of fat quarter bundles and sewing accessories. The shoulder strap makes it handy so you can carry other things like your sewing machine.
